With Data Pool access becoming more common around Night City, it's possible that the Old NET could very well be dumped in lieu of a more local network system with global access linkage.

North Oak wedding comes to a halt as one of the guests goes on a violent rampage, and bites one of the security guards who intervenes.

According to anonymous witnesses, Lue Even, the 17 year old daughter of Colt Even, the Medivance CEO, needed to be escorted out for a major disturbance. It is alleged that she bit the hand of one of the security men trying to get a hold of her. The bite was allegedly severe enough to draw blood, and needed sutures. Despite this, the man seems currently set on not pressing charges. Witnesses describe the event with great shock. It is claimed that the girl started throwing champagne glasses at her parents due to an argument, which got security called. “At first, when I heard the commotion, I thought some gonk crashed the wedding,” they declare. “She kept yelling and thrashing and swearing, and then we heard one of the guards growl in pain. We only realized later that she had bit him. I would’ve never expected this sort of behaviour from someone of her status.” Both involved parties refused to comment on the event. A Medivance spokesperson declared that he can neither confirm nor deny the events took place, and that they are not in any way connected to the company. String of Missing Persons Claims Rocklin Augmentics Daughter

NCPD has reported that Lucy Rhinemeyer, 19-year-old daughter of Rocklin Augmentics Executive Engineer George Edward Rhinemeyer, has joined the growing number of missing young women in Night City. Over the last four weeks, seven women have been reported missing across the University District. Their whereabouts are a complete mystery to NCPD detectives, who still have no leads. Mr. Rhinemeyer has yet to be reached for comment.
